"Voices Rising Autism Awareness Foundation was created in honor of two young cousins, Hamza and Ahmad, who were both diagnosed with autism and speech delays. As grandchildren of Tyesha Mack and Arthur Mack, their early years revealed the same challenges—difficulty communicating, sensory overwhelm, and moments where their emotions were bigger than their words. But their grandparents also witnessed something extraordinary: every day, these boys fought to be understood. Every sound, gesture, and attempt to communicate was a victory. Their voices—though still emerging—were rising. Their courage inspired the creation of a foundation dedicated to helping other children rise too. Voices Rising Autism Awareness exists because two little boys showed their family what strength looks like, and sparked a mission to uplift families across Philadelphia."
